This is actually my LEAST favorite episode of S3B, & i'm pretty sure for many.

Yea I wasn’t the biggest fan of this episode. I did think it was cool that they talked about the internment camps because this show was this first time I had heard about them. When I was in school we only went into it a bit junior year and that was it. Which I thought was ridiculous considering we locked up hundreds of Japanese Americans in camps just because they were Japanese. Very similar to locking up Jews in concentration camps though not as horrifying but it was still just as bad and ugly a thing to do to people. The episode did give important info about how the nogitsune came into the picture but it slowed down the pacing of the story. Though it speeds up from here on out thankfully. And I might get a bit of hate by saying this but I don’t find kira’s character all that interesting. I don’t know. Her character just feels like a replacement for Alison ( I’m not the biggest fan of Alison either, though I did start liking her better in season 3a&b) like because Scott is the main character he needs to have a love interest. I don’t hate her I just feel like she isn’t as interesting or as compelling as some of the other characters. But yea that’s just me.

I think we needed the history of the Nogitsune but it was either a weirdly placed episode or maybe too much in flashback. I like the episode but we have just seen Void Stiles fully come forward and now we’re jumping back. It does have some great interesting moments though. Rhys was always telling riddles and now the Nogitsune is torturing Stiles with riddles. When Kiras mom (Noshiko) is telling Kira to fix the sword Kira asks why she doesn’t do it, and Kiras mom responds “I’m not a thunder Kitsune” hmm what kind is she. I don’t remember if it’s said in the show but I’ll give it a bit before saying it because I don’t want to spoil even though I don’t think it’s that big of a spoiler.

Davion you are so right, as much as I love Kira all I wanted was for the story to progress, I get backstory episodes and why they’re important but it doesn’t have to take up a whole episode. So f it had been broken up with a lot more scenes of void stiles and the sherif and argent making their plan etc. then it would’ve sped things up a bit. But dw episode 22-24 is 🔥 as is the rest of the series in my opinion

It’s almost 2 am and I am hollering of laughter lmao 🤣 yeah I agree with Dave I didn’t really care for the back story but Kira is my fave and I had to know more of her back story even though it was a bit boring lol 😂 but Nathan cooking cereal took me out I mean oatmeal is cereal, but hot cereal lmao 🤣 Dave was so done with this episode lmao 🤣 every time you guys shout me out I literally smile love you guys and loved the reaction 🥰💙

I also see what davion was saying about this backstory episode because i felt the same way when i first saw it. This episode is usually what i skip everytime i go back and rewatch this series. Mainly because it’s boring. Kira is great, but making 90% of the episode about kira’s mother’s backstory was overkill. They could’ve still told it and still showed what was going on with void stiles more as well. I skipped derek’s backstory episode as well mainly because the whole love story stuff is boring to me. A little love is alright. But i’d like to focus more on action and problem solving.

Omg, nathan’s utter hate for kira’s mom and passion for stiles is unmatched. I swear i said the same thing when she said stiles couldn’t be saved. I said, “F you and your whole bloodline. Stiles ain’t dying on my watch. He dies, the show dies.” 😂
