2022-12-04 03:53:11 +0000 UTCThese are my thoughts on Stiles and Malia. I love Malia’s character but I personally don’t ship her and Stiles. And my reasoning for that is I don’t think Stiles will truly ever get over Lydia and Malia deserves someone who loves only her. I also think they happened way to fast, I love the slow burns which is why I prefer Stiles and Lydia.

2021-08-04 03:57:39 +0000 UTC@Tealhiid And Stiles and Malia both suffer from ptsd thats why they depend on each other like its not fully love its just they got together at their most vulnerable times and they were each other’s firsts maybe they felt obligated to be together because those too are psychologically fd up and no one else understands them they hurt the people they love and Malia doesn’t judge so Stiles maybe feels comfort in that <—— ps thats just an observation and a guess because when I rewatch it makes sense.

2021-08-02 22:54:16 +0000 UTCBy fast i meant the development of her character in to the friend group also the beginning everything was just done too hastily on her character compared to for example Malia. That character felt little but more natural and like S said the time between 3&4 could explain how Malia got in to the group. Kira was given a very lacking intro to the show and to the group without any emotional anything like we got the whole Malia coyote thing where she was the main focus and it didn’t have anything to do with crushes or love but we didn’t get anything with Kira as the main focus it was always one plus one even the kitsune stories never full on her it was either overshadowed by void or her mom or some other thing like Scott crushing on her and that sucked because that made me see her character as dull and only Scott’s gf when she could’ve been so much more.

And given Malia was a coyote and still has those instincts it makes a lot of sense why she’s so loyal and close to Stiles. He’s one of the first people in her life after becoming human. Scott and Kira had way more time before they officially became a thing but I 100% agree that she feels more like a girlfriend than a character.

This is my second fav season in teen wolf after 3b like the plotline makes u so invested and i dont know why people say this is the worst season like is it worst cuz it doesn't consentrate on teen drama that much but everyone has theyre oppinion. And in my oppinion they put Kira and scott together too fast and the relationship feels very artificial like they should have started slowly in 3b and then in season four gotten together that's why i don't feel that much of an emotianal connection with Kira's character. She feels like scott's gf Kira not just Kira they did that character dirty. sorry got long :)
