2021-06-15 07:33:06 +0000 UTCNow that you have the timeline and you have acknowledged and addressed biases that impede you from analyzing each characters actions fairly you can begin to breakdown each action. 1)Scott is in a lose-lose situation. This is something that Davion failed to acknowledge which undermined his overall argument which was correct. Allison knows that Scott is lying but he can't tell Allison the truth for 2 reasons. First because of the snowball effect revealing that he is a werewolf would have. Understand that in that situation Scott would be revealing that not only to Allison but to Lydia and Jackson. Most likely with that many people knowing it would eventually lead to her parents finding out. Second because she wouldn't believe him if he did tell her because its such a ridiculous thing to say. 2) Allison does not know that Scott is in a lose-lose situation and thus you can't blame her for breaking up with him. All she knows is that Scott has been lying all night and that he locked and trapped them in the chemistry room. She does not know that he is doing this to protect them from himself. 3) With regards to how Allison is acting with Jackson this is clearly just a reflection of her personality and not any romantic feelings towards him. Allison simply is an extremely caring person as seen by her becoming distraught when she hits the dog, covering for Scott after the dinner, and when she held his hand to comfort him when Coach was grilling him about not doing the readings.

In reality we only have access to our own, 2)As the viewer when discussing the show you are looking at it through hindsight which makes it extremely easy to take apart their actions as opposed to real time. This is a problem even in real life which is why there is the saying "Hindsight is 20/20" 3)You as the viewer are watching in a 0 pressure environment while this is happening in a high pressure traumatic environment. This causes you to expect them to act as a rational agent when they are in an environment that promotes irrationality and panic. 4) The characters in the show are a group of teenagers who are in a life threatening situation. There age alone would be cause for them to act irrationally. This is why contracts done with minors are voidable.

First we need to set a timeline, in episode 5 Scott tells Allison she has a tell when she is lying. In episode 7 all throughout their time at high school Allison notices that Scott is lying. She reveals the fact that she knows he is lying in the chemistry room. She justifies this by saying she can tell when he lies just like he can tell when she lies. After she realizes that she can't convince him out of going out there she kisses him because she recognizes the danger he is putting himself in for her and because she loves him. Scott then retrieves the keys but is turned into a werewolf and forced to go attack them by the Alpha. As Scott was about to enter the room he hears Allison's voice and begins to have control over himself. Gaining enough composure to think somewhat he breaks the key into the lock in order to completely stop himself from attacking them. Allison hears the key break into the lock and knowing that Scott went for the keys she is able to deduce that Scott broke the key into the lock and trapped them inside.
