I always start my recordings at 00:00:00 of the show to make timecode syncing much easier and the timecode is included. I watch through any recaps (if any) and intros. Yes, Don Krieg was actually starving, but because he is a slimy bastard it was obvious that he was still gonna turn on the people that showed kindness to him. And once again I want to point out the subject of Krieg being the "Ruler of the East Blue", that tittle does belong to him due to his active pirate work up until recently, but if Arlong and his crew weren't settled in Coco Village and being covered up by corrupt Marines then he would definetly have that tittle instead of Don. Also while the anime does a generally good job... Sometimes it can also fall into censorship and changes of the original source. For example... In this episode we see the cooks pulling giant knifes and pans on Sanji when he's about to cook the meals... But in the manga they're all actually holding rifles and aiming at him.

2023-11-14 00:36:12 +0000 UTCPatty was indeed in the live action too, albeit with a much smaller role. But yeah, now you're finally getting to see Don Krieg in action. The guy's a piece of crap to be sure, but I can't fault his style! Even though the live action cut his role, I do like that they still referenced his entrance a bit with Arlong instead.
