I always start my recordings at 00:00:00 of the show to make timecode syncing much easier and the timecode is included. I watch through any recaps (if any) and intros. 2024-01-29 15:29:57 +0000 UTCso... just to put in some context.... this little Buggy side-story wasn't in the manga perse so a lot of people call it filler, but it is not filler because IT WAS in the manga just not in the traditional way... This was the first of Oda's now iconic "Cover Stories", essentially Oda sometimes chooses to dedicate the covers of the Manga Chapters to showing what some secondary characters are doing while the Strawhats are continuing their journey. These stories usually are centered around foes that have already been defeated by the strawhats or allies/friends who helped them in their adventure. This is one of the things that i love the most about early One Piece, they dedicated one or even several episodes to fully animate these Cover Stories. Sadly this is something that ceases to happen the further you go in the anime. Funny that you noticed the Panda in Sanji's apron, im sure you thought of Pandaman but this is actually a different kind of Easter Egg. if you look closely you will see that below the image of the Panda in Sanji's apron there's a word that spells "Doskoi", this is not a random word... in the Question's Corner Oda said that Doskoi Panda is actually a very famous and well-spread clothing brand in the world of One Piece, next to Pandaman it is Oda's most prominent easter egg.
