Yeah and what sucks about that is the Dragon sword's attack wouldn't have even harmed Rimuru. The details in the novels tell us it was a magicule based attack simply described as a 'white-hot bolt of force' so it would have been easily defendable with Uriel's 'Absolute Defense.' Rimuru was temporarily immobile after tanking and absorbing Hinata's Melt Slash, so she thought he was in danger because he could not dodge.

To the vampires, she is not a god, but she is an important elder whom they respect. If Hinata were killed, Luminus would be...upset, sad, devastated, angry: all normal emotions. That's in contrast to Gunther's statement that they shouldn't worry what humans do. Luminus used the Skill Create Material for her clothes. Many very high level monsters have this. Demons, Milim, Veldora seem to be capable of this. Rimuru doesn't.
