That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Visions of Coleus OVA 3 Reaction

Comments

Tensura: Visions of Coleus OVA 3 Rimuru using Gluttony in these situations is taking advantage of the Skill Degenerate that Rimuru got from Shizu, which combines and separates. Old gentleman. If Zenobia's able to see Rimuru's true nature, or really his soul’s true nature, perhaps she's seeing beyond his past life. But what she actually said in Japanese is something like “honored uncle”. The Japanese use older brother for older boys, not necessarily related, who are still young. Uncle would be used for middle-aged, and grandfather for old men. Relative to her, he is an “uncle”. Rimuru would probably rather be called “older brother”. Rimuru died in the old world at the age of 37, and it's now been about 2 years since he reincarnated. Satoru's colleague called him “senpai”, which is a person senior to him. It's used in a context of school, employment, or those who have been training or doing something longer, such as sword arts. “Uncle”, etc., is used in a more general situation. In the LN there is no Zeinblood that I know of, and it explicitly states that vampires don't make other vampires, whether by choice or they aren't able to, I think it's the latter, but I could be wrong. Is this new canon lore, or is it simply misinformation perpetrated by Carl? By the way, the demons associated with Violet are, shall we say, purple? Color is always a hint. The reason you often hear the phrase “small fry” is because the actual word used literally means “small fish”. I don't really understand why Gustav gave Aslan power, perhaps to give Souther the illusion of being able to compete against his brother, perhaps to enable the King to have two equal choices, perhaps to convince Souther he was an ally, perhaps so that Aslan would be suspicious and believe the false story implicating his brother in treachery. And why did Souther accept the power? Perhaps to protect his sister against his brother, or enable him to take on his brother's rebellion. Unique weapon: this is a special term meaning the rank of the weapon is above ordinary. It's either one or two steps up from that. One reason Rimuru might have had it within his Stomach is to bathe it in magicules which would enhance the weapon and its materials even further. “Mazui” usually refers to really bad food, bad-tasting, but this isn't the first time I’ve heard it take on a more figurative meaning. I think Gustav absorbed the demon part of Carl? Remember when Raphael accepted the two lackeys of Noir when there weren't enough magicules to conduct the ritual? Same basic thing–but this one was involuntary. Some of the thing Luminus says are a bit mysterious. Like fighting Gustav might be “a waste of his effort.” Maybe Rimuru? Then she calls him a small fry but the original is not, for once, the word that means “small fish”. Violet sure has a bunch of overly ambitious subordinates, doesn't she? Is it her, or something else? Why do these lackeys put themselves through this? As explained previously, demons want to serve. Also, when they become Greater Demons, they take on a color. Thus, they are automatically part of a faction. Demon society is absolutely hierarchical. And they fight for status and strength constantly, and they enjoy doing it. But any disrespect or disobedience of any superior or even incompetence will result in punishment of some degree. Maybe if the superior is in a good mood that day they'll be let off easily. And they are very logical, so they are not usually capricious. The subordinate does know all that, but they serve anyway. They hope to be praised, acknowledged, not rewarded. Luminous uses her Charm Skill, that all vampires possess, on Paolo in order to control his mind. I don't know what Luminus means when she says this kingdom is an offering to the Mad King. I have a guess but that's it. The reward before death: I have an idea about that, but that's all. I have no idea whatsoever what the King means by “the guardian of the four–”. It could be I haven't read far enough. Why did Luminus get involved in the first place? I can think of a few reasons. Two are spoilers, but one is that she doesn't want to be blamed for something that isn't her fault. Yuuki, and Rimuru, too, are not above using the tools at hand. Yuuki probably knew Rimuru would succeed at the task, even if he planned to betray him soon. And I can assuming you remember from OVA1 what the reason for the mission was in the first place. Paolo seems to have gained some sense in the end. ........ And more fun characters on the horizon!

Mostly agree, but that bit about "unless said Primordials meet certain conditions", sounds like you're saying that unless they meet certain conditions, they are weaker or at least not monumentally stronger. Did you mean to say something different? Also, Primordials start out as Arch Demons, I believe. They have a head start on all the other demons, but the main advantage of being a Primordial is that they have had the most time to hone their battle Skills and refine their magic. Arch Demons are ranked by age.

Somehow missed this, even though I was looking for it....

Primordials are massively stronger than Arch demons, Arch demons are what people assume is the highest race demons can evolve into yet some primordials(beings who have lived for thousands of years) have proven that wrong (more explained in S3). From what the anime has already told us we know of Greater demons, Arch demons, and Primordials. In terms of strength its Greater demon < Arch demon.... Arch demon < primordial. Primordials are monumentally stronger than all other demon forms unless said primodials meet certain conditions...
