Here’s where I’m at right now with this week’s piece!

I realize I paint with saturated a little bit too much. Wanted to do something with more natural day light here. I’d also like to hopefully achieve some narrative storytelling with making the clouds darker and breaking apart to show more of the blue sky to the right. Representing the feeling of leaving a dark, uncomfortable space and feeling more free to be open and express yourself. I’m not exactly planning on making my work more profound or anything! Just wanna experiment with more environmental storytelling. :3

Hope yer diggin it so far! Gonna try and wrap to wrap this up tomorrow if possible! Just gotta add some more details to the background, possibly more characters, and render the light on the subjects!
