If ever you will have time, I recommend reading the Shōgun book. Beyong a great story, is a good way for understanding some Japanese traditions and rituals(like the tea ceremony from this movie). After that, of course, the recent Shōgun TV Series is an awesome watch and quite accurate to the book.
