The Etherics is one of the branches of physics. Applied etherics deals mainly with the transmission of energy at a distance through the ether. The simplest and most accessible direction of applied etherics for the inhabitants of Equis is a telekinesis.
Most of the practicing ethericists (or etherics) are specially trained scientists, researchers, and engineers. "Combat" etherics are extremely rare.
For a more effective use of applied etherics, various equipment is used that enhance and focus the abilities its users.
