One episode this week, and some Swordtember swords!
I did a little playing around in RPG Maker and made some random sprites
Hasbro have been talking about adding more AI to Dungeons and Dragons, so I revisited Swords: Pens & Papercuts for some more brainstorming. I think it needs to be weirder, so I'm going to remove Dwarves and Elves as playable races (for now) and try to focus the game on less traditional things.
I've attached a copy below if you wanna have a look, but it's just a (very) unfinished draft so take it with a (very) large grain of salt, thank you! It's inspired by tabletop games I like such as Games Workshops Lord of the Rings and Warhammer 6th Ed. Path to Glory; plus video games like Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.
There is a softer, wholesome one-page game called A Little Qwest if that is more to your tastes - there's a room in the Discord if you want to help develop it further too.
Currently working on the Patron Swor'nament Part 2
If you are a paid patron, you can post your OC in the Discord and I will sneak them into the background somewhere. If you are a free patreon follower, I'll do a post here later looking for a few more for some bigger crowd shots.
You can read the first half of the Patron Swor'nament here
We're still waiting for our final cut of Cut the Deck so we can sign off on it and get the thing shipped! We did an update this week that said as much. I've been working on polishing the PDF adventures up some more too, since we have the time.
I'm trying to sell all my remaining merch so I can go to Japan! Or at least live a life of zen emptiness. Grab an enamel pin or something, I'd appreciate it : Ko-Fi Shop
Pins are also available from BeaDnD
I've listed some of my creepy old fanart for sale in the Swords Discord
If you'd like to advertise something in the background of a Swor'nament episode, get in touch! There's room for banners, characters holding up signs, or full panel branding by the Announcers. It can be a fake brand too. Even better, maybe.
I watched The Hobbit trilogy. They're so long!! I watched the first episode of Ring of Power too.
That's about it! Thanks!
