V2 Editor UI

This project started out with the editor. I always thought that things like AI redraws and translations tech were ways out and an editor would be essential. I estimated that my editor would accelerate the translation process by more than 5x. However, I'm confident that fully automated AI manga translation is now within reach due to recent advancements in machine learning. I believe speed up of more than 10x will happen within the next year.

Back to milestone 1: the new UI

All of V1 UI features has been migrated V2. This includes includes the new AI models from milestone 2 along with some nifty upgrades.

1. Side-by-side view

This features original vs edited view. Along with various zoom and visibility options.

2. Top editing toolbar

All of the editing features has been moved to the top for a more classical editing view.

3. Script translation view

The script has been consolidated moved to the side under a single script view. More importantly the script is ordered in the reading order.

4. Presets

More presets will be added in the future to allow fine control over how pages are automatically translated. This will also include saved presets so that the editor can choose appropriate presets based on the title they are translating.

5. Import/Export

This includes export edited pages to various formats. Along with import/export of the script.

6. More AI/editing features

This includes more automated/manual font handling features such as color, outline, rotation, etc. In addition, I'll be adding manual redraw features with AI assistance so that the editor wont need to go to something like Photoshop.

I'm currently working on all of the above along with milestone 3. Milestone 3 is a step that significantly improves the appearance of typesetting. I'll have more to say about milestone 3 soon.
