Autumn '24 Teaser

The season of mists and mellow fruitfulness is nearly upon us here in Brighton and we are looking forward to the months best suited to our profession, when we are beckoned indoors to gather about the panel heater and draw amongst friends, be it in a life drawing studio or from the comfort of home. While our summer photosets were lit by the multidirectional lights of the sunnier months and set against an ice-cream backdrop our autumn photo-sets owe more to the colour palette of fallen leaves and evergreens. We are introducing Nasim, Patch and Nomi to the Patreon, who will now be receiving their equal split of 25% of the total Patreon income you provide us each month, in addition to the pay the receive for modelling for the shoots and live online sessions. With new models, come new ideas - Nomi proposed that we have a themed photoset to celebrate National Comic Book Day in the US, presenting us with her favourite Harley Quinn character for a themed and experimentally lit set; we also have the seasonal Halloween photo-set: a hair-ghost conjured by the one and only Floorlength Frankie. Here is a sample of the sets we'll be releasing over the autumn, with details of the release dates below. We hope you enjoy working from them!

About the models

Nomi is an artists & life model and was our very first Drawing Circus aerialist; she has been involved in life drawing at Draw for over a decade.
Nasim is an poet, translator and renowned life model; we're very excited to finally have her on the Draw Patreon!
Patch has been on our radar for some time and we're really delighted that he accepted our invitation to come and pose for the autumn photoset.
Tendai is has been part of the Draw community for some time now, but this the first time she's felt confident to pose for a life photoset, so we're delighted to have her back for another season.
Frankie is one of the founding members of Draw and returns to our photosets for a 'Hair Ghost' Halloween special.

About the photographer

Most of the photos in this series were shot by Olly Hearsey at his own studio in New England House. You are welcome to tag him on Instagram here - he always enjoys seeing work made from the photosets.
Our Hair Ghost Halloween Special was shot by Justyna Neryng, from our most recent photoshoot, which will be mostly released in the winter of this year.
