The Hero Is the Demon Lord's Daughter? Ch1

It was late in the morning and the sun had already been up for an hour, which meant only one thing for poor Cassius: he slept through his alarm and was well on his way to being late to school. He opened his eyes and yawned. He then looked at his window. “Sun's already out? Wait a minute…” Cassius whips his head around and looks at his alarm clock. The button on top was broken, clearly because he smashed it in his sleep while trying to turn it off. Cassius looked at the time and realized it was almost nine in the morning. “Crap, I only have twenty minutes to get to school.” Cassius tossed his blankets off, grabbed his dirty school uniform from yesterday and ran into the bathroom. He brushed his teeth while sliding his pants up and then buttoned his shoes as he ran downstairs. “Dammit, I’m starving, but I don’t have time for breakfast. I’ll just have to make up for it with a big lunch.”
Cassius grabs his backpack and heads to the door to get his shoes on. Once they were on and tied, he looked at the clock. “Dammit, only ten minutes until I’m late. Mrs. Hayfield will definitely give me detention if I’m late a fifth time this week.” He ran out the door, slamming it behind him and went right to the sidewalk. “Alright, I can do this. If I run across every street no matter the signal, cut through the construction site, and jump the river using the old broken bridge on Sixth Street, I should make it in five minutes. Cassius smiles as he knows he has this. He cut across the first sidewalk, nearly getting hit by a car. The driver started laying on his horn before opening his window. “Hey, you dumbass kid, watch where you’re going.” Cassius heard him yell as he ran off. Cassius cut across a few more streets before arriving at the construction zone. As Cassius got close to the entrance, the security guard noticed him and started yelling. “Hey! You snot-nosed brat, don’t you dare run through here again.” The man said as he grabbed his baton.
Cassius smiled and ran through anyway. The guard groaned and started chasing after him. Cassius turned his head around, stuck his tongue out and closed one of his eyes. “We do this three times a week, Dan; you know full well you can’t catch me.” Cassius turned forward and focused on getting through the many men working and carrying equipment and supplies. He nearly got smacked in the face by a piece of rebar, but he managed to slide before it hit his face and instead it hit Dan. Dan fell to the ground and started cursing, which caused the rest of the workers to notice him and surround him to check on him, which was perfect for Cassius, as it gave him a clean break to the exit and one step closer to making it to school on time. Cassius cut through more streets and crosswalks, making more and more enemies on wheels, and made it to the old bridge. He looked at the gap and gulped. “Shit, more has broken off this damn thing. They really need to repair it.”
Cassius looked it over. “It’s a bigger gap than I’m used to, but I think I can still jump it. I just need a running start.” Cassius turned around and ran a few feet back. He then prepared himself and ran forward. His feet hit the bridge and he took two steps on it before running out of planks to step on. On his last step, he jumped with all the power he could muster and went flying into the air towards the other side. He swung his arms in the air and after a few seconds in the air his foot landed on the other side of the bridge. “HA! I made it… I’m really glad I did… I definitely wouldn’t make it on time if I fell in, and worse, I’d be soaking wet. I really don’t want to do that again.” Cassius took a deep breath and then got back to running. He was almost at school and seemed like he’d be on time. All he needed to do was run across one last big street and he’d be at his school.
Cassius gave a quick glance both ways before running into the road. He should have spent a few seconds longer looking to his left, as there was a massive semi-truck speeding down the road towards him. Cassius heard its loud horn going on, and he felt his heart drop. He stopped running and saw the truck feet from him and knew there was no way he could get away from it in time. “This is it… the end of my tale, and the classic Truck-kun will be the one to do it.” Cassius closed his eyes and felt devastated. “I truly wasn’t ready, but at least if this is my end, let me be reincarnated into another world surrounded by the most beautiful ladies, and perhaps make it so I can be a great hero.” Cassius stood there hearing the horn and waiting for his end, but after a minute nothing happened, and Cassius started to hear an older man yelling. Cassius opened his eyes to find the truck had stopped inches from his face, and the driver was hanging out the window yelling.
“WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!! I COULD HAVE KILLED YOU!” The truck driver continued to yell as Cassius slowly realized he was alive. Cassius then looked at the driver and turned bright red. “I’m so sorry, sir. I was late, and I know that’s not an excuse. I’ll do better, I swear.” Cassius then pressed his hands together and apologized again. The driver took a deep breath and calmed down. “Alright, just be careful; the last thing we need is the youth’s blood smeared all over the ground.” With that, the driver turned his truck back on and Cassius got out of the way. Cassius then started walking down the sidewalk towards his school. He made it to the front gate and found Mrs. Hayfield out front scolding another student about being late. Cassius gulped. “Dammit, I didn’t make it…” Cassius then looked around and then shrugged. “Well, guess I’m not going to school today.” Cassius then turned around and started to head towards the skatepark, the palace he normally hides out in when ditching school.
When he got there, he used his special trick to get free snacks and drinks from the vending machine and then sat at the top of the quarter pipe and enjoyed them. As he sat there, he found himself thinking about the truck. “I can’t believe I almost died…” Cassius put his hands on his head. “That would have really sucked. Still, how did something like that happen? I looked both ways and I’m usually pretty careful with what I do.” Cassius finished his drink and tossed the can towards the trash can, completely missing it. “Must have been bad timing. I’ll just have to be more careful. From now on, I’ll stay away from danger.” As soon as Cassius said that, a large black portal opened up in the middle of the skatepark. “What the hell?” Cassius stood up and was about to jump down from the quarter pipe when something came flying out of it. It flew right into the quarterpipe Cassius was standing on, breaking it to pieces and sending him falling forward.
After landing on his face, he picked himself up and looked backward. He wanted to know what the hell just attacked him. He wasn’t sure what was supposed to come out of strange black portals, but he sure wasn’t expecting it to be a beautiful woman. “Holy shit… She’s… she’s so… so THICK!” Cassius said while blood dripped down his nose. The woman seemed to be unconscious and badly beaten. Despite that, she was still the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen. Her hair flowed all the way down to her lower back and was an amazing candy apple red. Her face, though asleep, looked as pure and peaceful as the heavens, and each feature was perfect. Her cheeks, eyebrows, and the shape—everything was perfect, unlike anything Cassius had seen. Better than all of those features, though, was her body shape. As he so shamefully pointed out before, the woman had quite the voluptuous body.
Her thighs were large enough to crush against each other. From there her hips popped out quite a bit and curved around to her waist, which was quite thin. Above that was her best feature, massive, perfectly round breasts, or as Cassius calls them, mommy melons. Though he couldn't see it, he was sure her butt was just as glorious as the rest of her. Cassius also knew that she was likely the most beautiful woman in the world, perhaps the world if that strange black portal leads to another. Cassius looked her over a few times and noticed she seemed to have pretty severe injuries all over her, which likely meant something threw her through that portal. Cassius turned his head towards the portal and stared at it intensely. “What’s on the other side?” Cassius said as he walked towards the portal. He got face-to-face with it but couldn’t see through it. So he had no idea what was on the side or if it was even safe for him to touch.
He was about to turn around and go help that woman, but suddenly a metal hand came bursting out of the portal. It wrapped around Cassius’s neck and picked him up as its owner walked out of the portal. Cassius could barely breathe with how tight the grip was, and worse than that, it was so hot, like the gauntlet was on fire. Cassius, struggling and trying to get free, looked down at the person who was holding him. He couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw who it was. It seemed to be a female demon. One who was quite beautiful as well, but still nothing compared to the red-haired woman who came through first. Her eyes were bright yellow and looked as though they had an insatiable lust behind them for death, sex, or something else. Cassius had no idea, but from the state the red-haired lady seemed to be in, it was probably for death.
Her hair was black and only long enough to touch her shoulders, but his was partially shaved on the left side. She also had a pair of dark red horns popping out the sides of her head. Her face wasn’t as cute as the red-haired woman’s, but it was more mature-looking, like the moms of Cassius’ friends. As for her bodily features, she was nothing compared to the other woman. Her breasts were only a third of the size, her thighs were half the size and her hips and waist didn’t make her appear nearly as curvy. Overall, if he gave both women a score, the red-haired woman had perfect marks and would score one hundred points out of a hundred, while the demon woman would score somewhere around seventy-five, which was still a good score. As Cassius delusionally started to fade from consciousness due to the pain and lack of air, the demon holding him started to laugh. “So you thought running to another world would stop me from killing you, princess? Did you really think even more pathetic humans could stop me?”
The demon started waving Cassius’ body around as a tongue, but she stopped when she realized the princess was knocked out. “Ah, no fun. Don’t tell me after all we’ve been through that little kick to the stomach was what got you.” The demon sighed. “I guess that’s the end of my fun. Not like I can kill her anyway.” The demon says before looking back at Cassius. “You, however, I can, since you’ve seen me and all. I’d say it wasn’t personal, but it’ll feel like it when I start ripping you in half.” The demon then lifted Cassius up higher and grabbed his leg with her other hand. “This will hurt a lot; be sure to scream a ton—it’s my favorite part.” The demon then loosened her grip on his throat and started to pull his leg away from the rest of his body. The pain was unbearable, and as she wanted, Cassius was screaming and begging her to stop, but the more he begged and the more pitiful he looked, the more she relished in his agony, and thus the more she did it.
“PLEASE… STOP…” Cassius continued to yell, but she didn’t and the inevitable happened: Cassius’ leg came right off. The shock and overwhelming pain caused Cassius to become speechless and with the loss of blood, he was guaranteed to soon pass out. Having ruined her fun by no longer yelling, the demon grew bored of him, so she took her hand and with one fierce strike, she sent her fist through his torso, creating a large hole and destroying most of his internal organs. She then tossed him on the ground and looked towards the princess, who was now gone. “What the hell? Where did the bitch go?” The demon started quickly turning her head around, trying to sense her energy, but seemed to be failing to do so. Cassius just lay on the ground, not moving and feeling as his body grew colder and his vision became more clouded, with the only thought on his mind being that this was truly the end, but right before his vision fully faded, he saw the princess home flying down from the sky.
She seemed to have long white wings and a staff. She caught the demon off guard and hit her as hard as she could with her staff, knocking her to the ground and causing her to pass out on the spot. The princess then quickly ran over to Cassius and started casting some sort of magic. “Crap, crap, crap… this isn't good… I can’t hear him; the damage is too great. What should I do?” The princess looked around, hoping to find an answer. She then looked at the demon. “I can do that, but he may not be happy with it, but it’s the only way he can live.” The princess then takes a step back and begins waving her magic staff around, creating spell circles under both the demon and Cassius. Cassius felt his soul getting lighter and thought it was finally time and that it was going to move on from his body. He no longer felt connected to his body, and his vision and hearing were completely gone.
He now felt as though he was floating in an empty void. “Is this what comes after life? Vast nothingness?” He thought to himself. He thought this was all that was left for him, and perhaps that wouldn’t be so bad, but he did have one regret. He didn’t actually get to talk to the princess, which meant he didn’t get to ask her what her name was. “If only I could have asked her name. She was so pretty, and her breasts were so huge.” Cassius said casually out loud. Suddenly Cassius felt something really hard hit her stomach and she woke up and quickly grabbed her stomach and started yelling in pain. Cassius looked over to see the princess standing there wielding her staff. Her face was bright red and it was clear she was mad; it was also clear she hit Cassius in the stomach. “What the hell, lady? Why did you hit me…” Cassius said annoyed, before going silent and letting go of her stomach.
“Wait a minute, how am I seeing you… Didn’t I die?” Cassius then looked down at herself because she knew there had been a hole in her stomach moments ago. She then let out a loud gasp as she saw what was sitting on her chest. “What the hell? I have breasts! Why do I have breasts, and why the hell am I red? Wait, forget that; let’s go back. Why do I have boobs? Wait, is it because I’m a…” Cassius kept rambling as she moved her hand down towards her crotch. The princess took her staff and hit Cassius’ hand. “No need for that, I can tell you. Yes, you have breasts, yes, you’re a woman, and you have red skin because the only way to preserve your life was to swap your body with that of the demon who attacked us.” The princess took a deep breath. “Also, you talk in your sleep.” She said before turning her head away, embarrassed. Cassius stopped mumbling questions and looked around. To his side he found what remained of his old body, so she knew the princess wasn’t lying.
“So in order to save me… You put me in her body… So I’m that female demon… I guess that makes sense… I can’t say I’m thrilled to be a woman or a demon, but I’m more than happy to still be alive. So thank you.” Cassius said while smiling at the princess. That caused the princess to seem surprised, but then she shook her head and smiled. “Sorry, I'm not used to a demon being so nice or thanking me. It’s kind of unsettling, to be honest, but I have to remember you’re not a demon at heart, but a human.” The princess then reached her hand out and offered to help Cassius up, which Cassius accepted. “Oh, and to answer your dream question, my name is Éowyn and I’m the princess of Etriborg, from the world Krefariel.” Cassius smiled as she heard the princess say her name. “It’s a lovely name. It’s nice to meet you, Your Highness. My name is Cassius… I guess Cassius the demon from Earth?” Cassius sounded confused as she wasn’t really sure.
Éowyn let out an awkward laugh. “Well, you’re a bit more than an earthling or a demon now. You’re now inside the body of Onithi, the only daughter of the evil demon lord who threatens our world, and a vicious murderer who’s killed thousands of my people.” Cassius froze in place, shocked to hear that. “I’m… I’m the demon lord’s daughter! What does that mean?” Cassius said a bit worried. Éowyn rubbed her head. “I’m not really sure; I know he’ll send people to find you, so staying here is a bad idea.” Éowyn then put her hand on her chin. “It might not be the best idea either, but it seems your best choice is to come back to my world so I can protect you.” Éowyn said as she grabbed Cassius’ hand and pulled her through the portal. “Wait, what? This is crazy and sudden, and didn’t you say I’m in the body of an evil murderer? how are your people going to react when they see…” Cassius stopped talking when they made it to the other side of the portal.
They were now standing in the world of Krefariel, and it was amazing. There were floating islands, amazingly colored plants, and creatures Cassius had never seen, and she could suddenly feel a connection to this world's magic. Éowyn stopped moving and looked at Cassius and noticed the look of amazement she had on her face. “Don’t worry about my people; I’ll tell them what happened, and all you need to do is continue to look at the world as you are now.” Cassius stopped looking around and looked at Éowyn confused. “What does that mean?” Éowyn looked Cassius in the eyes. “Even with the face of a demon, you can see it in your eyes; you’re not as heartless as demons, and you see the beauty in this world.” Éowyn’s face seems to sour. “The demons the people know are not like that. Onithi, the old one at least. She hated everything about this place and sought to destroy it all. The rest of the demons are nearly as bad as her.”
Éowyn turns around. “All they do is hate, kill, and spread their darklands across the world, and with how strong they are, very little can stand up against them, but we do it anyway, and we’ll protect this world, and now we’ll protect the only good demon that lives in it.” Cassius felt bad hearing that. The demon that attacked her, the one whose body was now her own, had more like her, making innocent people suffer. Cassius stopped walking, and Éowyn noticed when she got pulled back. “What’s wrong, Cassius?” Éowyn said as she stared at her. Cassius was deep in thought for a moment and then looked sternly at Éowyn. “This may sound crazy, but if Onithi was that strong, do you think I could learn to use her power and use it to help you?” Éowyn once again seemed shocked to hear a demon speak that way. “I couldn’t possibly ask you to do that for us… but I can’t deny having a demon lord on our side, one as strong as Onithi, would turn the tides greatly.”
Cassius smiled. “Then it’s settled. I, Onithi, hereby swear my loyalty to Princess Éowyn of Etriborg. I promise to learn to use this body and the power it grants me to protect you and help save your world.” Éowyn’s mouth opened wide, and tears started to flow down her face. Without thinking, she jumped forward and hugged Cassius. “I… I can’t thank you enough…” Cassius smiled as she hugged Éowyn back and held it until she let go. Once Éowyn let go, she looked up at Cassius and started wiping her tears. “You know, it’s going to stir the whole world up when everyone finds out that the hero of this world is the demon lord’s daughter.” Cassius let out an awkward laugh. “Yeah… I’m going to have tons of demons and people trying to kill me from now on, huh?” Cassius said as he sighed. Éowyn chuckled. “Yeah, but I deal with that as well. Don’t worry, you’ll be fine, especially after we get you some training.”
Having said that, Éowyn turns and starts walking. “But first, we need to get back to my kingdom, which is about two days walk that way.” Cassius looked bummed out. “Two days? That’s so much…” Éowyn laughed. “Maybe in your world, but here we have magic.” Éowyn put out her arms and her long white wings reappeared. She then flapped them once and took off into the air. “Try to keep up, Onithi; you wouldn’t want to get lost.” Éowyn teased as she started leaving Cassius in her dust. “Hey, wait a minute, that’s not fair.” Cassius then started running as fast as she could so she wouldn’t lose sight of her.

Yeah, it'll be a bit different, but I want to try writing more like this. Perhaps build a world and do a few adventures in it.

2025-04-19 20:51:46 +0000 UTCIf you're wondering, there was no mistake; this story doesn't have an image. This story will be a bit different than I normally write, so longer, hopefully more detailed, and an adventure. Don't worry, though; it's still TG-themed, and the main journey will be about the character experiencing life as a female demon in a new world! I hope you enjoy it.
