The Twelve Talisman: The Rooster Talisman (Com)

Commission for Last_of_workers

Jackie Chan, Adventures, is an American animated television show that was popular in the early two thousands. Though it’s been two decades since the show ended, there is still a friend group that originally came together thanks to the show.

Even to this day, their friendship is strong and their love for the show is even stronger. So when Ryker was stumbling around an old antique shop and found a set of twelve talismans that looked identical to the ones from the first season he couldn't resist buying it.

There was only one set, and he wanted to share this amazing find with his friends, luckily there were twelve talismans and twelve of them. So he headed everyone a talisman to keep, that way they had something to always remember about the show.

What Ryker didn’t expect was for all the talismans to activate and shine brightly. One moment they were all in the same room, and the next they were teleported across the world, transformed, and given powers.

Ryker woke up to the sounds of chickens clucking. She was also lying on something that felt a lot like hay. She opened her eyes and went to stretch, only to find her body felt completely strange, almost like she wasn’t human anymore.

She looked around and was startled to see giant chickens all around her, some of which were laying eggs. Ryker nervously took a step. Where the hell was she, and how did she end up in this strange chicken coop with giant chickens?

She walked over to the door and tried to reach her hand forward to push it open, but that’s when she discovered she didn’t have hands or even arms. Instead, she had wings, and she began to freak out a bit, which caused her to start flapping her wings like crazy.

That’s when one of the chickens told her to stop[ freaking out and lay some eggs. Ryker did stop freaking out and turned towards her. She asked how the hell she could understand a chicken, which caused the chicken to squawk in a laughing-like way.

She asked Ryker if she was an idiot, saying she was a chicken too so it only made sense that they could communicate. Ryker yelled at her saying she was a human, not a chicken. The chicken laughed again, saying Ryker was far from a human.

She was small and white like a chicken. She had wings, a beak, and skinny little chicken legs. Ryker once again denied it, but the chicken said to walk over to the water and look at herself if she didn't believe it, which she did.

Ryker let out several freaked-out squawks as she saw herself. She in fact looked like an everyday chicken. How was it possible? Ryker looked at herself and thought about it, before she was here she was with her friends and she was handing out the talisman.

Did she get the rooster talisman? If that was what did this to her, why wasn't she a rooster? Also, where was the talisman now? Was she stuck like this forever? She really didn’t want this to be her life, laying eggs and eventually getting deep fried.

Ryker had to get out of here, then hopefully find her friends and find a way to turn back. Ryker walked over the door again and started to push on it, but it wouldn't budge. That’s when she remembered most chicken coops had those mental latches.

So she walked over to the seam of the door and looked up, and sure enough, that was all that was keeping this thing closed. Ryker looked around, but there was nothing in the chicken she could use to open it dome the inside, at least not as a chicken.

It seemed there was no hope for her to get out of there, not unless there was more to the power of her talisman than just turning her into a chicken. In the show, the talisman granted the user telekinesis and the power of levitation.

So perhaps she had those abilities, only one real way to find out. Ryker pointed her wing towards the latch and closed her eyes. She felt some sort of power bubbling in her, but she really had to concentrate to use it.

After a minute she felt the metal of the latch as if it was in her wing. It took a bit of wiggling, but she managed to move it upwards, unlocking the door to the chicken coop. As the door flung open all the chickens behind Ryker stopped making noise.

She heard several of them mention the door being open and then they all started to get up. Then the entire flock of chickens squawked about freedom and a stampede occurred, pulling Ryker out with them.

As chickens started to flood the yard, the owner of them came running out yelling. He started chasing after all the chickens trying to grab them, and that included Ryker. She wasn’t all that used to running around in her chicken body so she was easily caught.

She squawked at the man holding her and flapped her wings like crazy to get free but it wasn’t working. She was panicking, she didn’t want to get locked back in that box, she had to get free and turn back to normal.

She tried to use her telekinesis to move the guy's hands but it didn’t work. She was seconds from being locked into the coop again when suddenly she noticed the coop was looking a bit small and the owner of the chickens was freaking out.

Why? Because Ryker had activated her levitation and was pulling herself and the guy off of the ground. Ryker was able to use her levitation easier than the telekinesis, it was almost like she was meant for flying around.

The guy holding onto her, however, was not meant to fly and was nearly in tears. So Ryker flew close to a tree and dropped him into it. Then she took off, making sure she got far enough away where she wouldn't be thrown into another chicken coop.

She ended up landing in a picnic area in a nearby park. That’s when she smelled food and realized she was starving. So she ran over and found a table with a plate of cooked BBQ on it. She went over to bite a piece when a woman came running and shooed Ryker away.

Of course, Ryker still wanted the food, so she hid in a bush and used her power of telekinesis to pull the plate over to her, then she brought it all the way to a more secluded picnic area. She then tried to eat it, but she didn’t have teeth and couldn't chew it.

She spit the piece out and stomped on the ground. Was she really not going to be able to eat real food again? If only she could turn back into a human. As if activating another power, Ryker started to get larger.

Her wings moved to her back and she started to grow limbs. In a matter of seconds, she was human again, well mostly. She is sort of a chicken humanoid now. She still had chicken wings and they had gotten larger as she got larger.

She still had feathers on her head, and she still had chicken feet. Ryker was also surprised to find she was wearing clothes now. She really wasn't expecting to suddenly turn back into a human, but she definitely wouldn't have guessed it would come with clothes.

She looked at her new outfit and realized she was wearing a dress. She grabbed the bottom of it and pulled it up. Why the hell was she wearing a dress? As she looked down at her dress she finally noticed the bumps on her chest.

She dropped the dress and grabbed her chest, then immediately let it go. She couldn't believe it, not only was she a chicken that could turn into a humanoid now, but she was also a girl. How could this situation get any worse?

She sat down and started to eat the food she stole. She also sat there thinking. The talisman was clearly the reason she was like this, it had the abilities she’d expect plus the bonus of being able to turn into the creature on the talisman, but why on earth did it make her a girl?

There were so many questions, but no way to answer them. For now, all she could hope for was to find the talisman and hope it turned her back, and since it was not on her, she hoped it was still at the place where her friend group hung out.

Which she wasn’t even sure how to get to, since she was in the middle of nowhere. At least there was one benefit to all this. Being able to fly will make it easier for her to get back home, even if it does take some time.

As Ryker finished the food, she heard the voices of the people she stole it from coming by and she stood up and panicked. She took the plate and tossed it into the woods. She started flapping her wings hoping to take off, but her wings alone weren't strong enough to lift her.

So she tried to use her levitation, but it wasn't working quickly enough because she was much heavier than she was before and wasn’t strong enough with the ability to carry her half-human form. She began to freak out a bit because she knew the people would think she was a monster.

She slapped her head, asking her body to do something, and much like it did when she turned into her current form, her body began to reshape. Her wings shrank down and disappeared, and her feet turned into normal human feet, and finally, her head feathers turned into hair.

She looked herself over, she was impressed. She was still a girl, but at least she was fully human at the moment. The people she heard coming found her and asked her if they had seen a thieving chicken around here, to which Ryker said no and then ran off.

She went even further into the park, where there were more trees. She let out a sigh and her body started to revert to her half-human form. Once her feet turned back and her wings came back she looked at herself. It seemed this was her true form or something.

It’s good to know she can turn into a normal human if she needs to, and she supposed being able to turn into a full chicken may be useful, but only if it worked on command, and there was only one way to find out.

She clenched her hands and thought about being a small little chicken again. Her body followed her command and in seconds she was back to her chicken form. It was so strange to transform so quickly, but it was strange how little she felt out of place as a chicken.

Perhaps this body and these powers might be worth keeping, but she wasn’t entirely sure yet. She still wanted to mess around with them and get back home first. Ryker used her levitation ability in her chicken form and took off into the sky. Too bad she was a hundred miles away from where she was going, and she was flying in the wrong direction.

Wow Riley, I really didn't expect you to release the first part so quickly, thank you so much for this... I must admit that I really didn't expect this start... In fact, it's more like "Season 3: Power of Beasts" than "Season 1: 12 talismans" but I never tried to separate them so for me this is a plus... Thank you very much Riley for your work I will look forward to the continuation
