Episode 27 gets a lot of crap but it's actually a very well structured and enjoyable episode. At first I was frustrated because I was expecting to continue from where 26 was ended but the fact that the episode 27 offers an insight to Hohenheim's character via recaps before the boys meet the father seems intentional

2020-12-02 23:39:48 +0000 UTC27 is the recap. There is a small amount of new content giving some insight into Hohenheim's charcter, but not really enough to justify watching. Skipping through it also seems like a bit of a pain, but if you feel like watching it you could do so.
