A small note I realized a bit late into the series, is that Wei Wuxian is not the youngest out of the 3 siblings. He is actually older than Jiang Cheng and their sister is the oldest. She indeed has taken up a sort of motherly role over both of them, but Jiang Cheng in my opinion just masks every emotion (worry, sadness, fear, love, ...) with anger. I love the dynamic between the three of them so much!

2023-03-27 12:15:38 +0000 UTCI agree that Wei Wuxian is the classic "incredibly intelligent and therefore easily bored" version of acting out. It doesn't come through as explicitly in the drama how smart he is, but his breaking the wards in the third episode isn't something anyone can do and he's constantly inventing new things. Loved the reaction! Can't wait for more.
