First Day: 27 (END)

It was a short trip. While they raised a few eyebrows, Cammy and her prisoner were able to just take a bus down the street to the abandoned stadium currently functioning as the local area's Delta Red HQ. Once they arrived, it became clear that Sakura wasn't seen as much of a real threat. The security staff on base was surprisingly polite as they directed her to the women's locker room, and encouraged her to get cleaned up before her interrogation. Cammy disappeared soon after they checked in, as she was immediately instructed to give a debrief on the mission and get checked out by a medic. Now, Sakura sat in the locker room, taking a few deep breaths just to recover from the ordeal she had been through before she showered.

Just then, she heard the door open, and the sounds of someone working a pad lock. She looked down, trying to respect the privacy of whoever else was in there. That is, of course, until she heard that someone start walking over towards her.

"Well, it's a good sign they let you in here." A familiar voice announced.

Sakura looked up, and felt her heart skip a beat as she saw Cammy's mostly disrobed body standing before her. "Usually prisoners don't even get washed up before their interrogation. If they let you in here at the same time as the agent who brought you in, then you're as good as innocent."

"Oh, well, uh, heheh... That's great to hear..." Sakura chuckled as her face blushed bright red. She tried not to dwell too much on the compromising state her acquaintance was in. this was a locker room after all, it's normal for people to get undressed in there. What made her heart race even faster was when Cammy sat down right next to her on the bench.

"Sounds like it's gonna be a while until they let you in. They brought some big shot in a few minutes before we got here, and they're dead set on squeezing every bit of info out of him they can. They said it'll be at least another two hours until they see you."

"Ah, well, that's unfortunate." Sakura stated, stopping herself from staring at the unusually shredded muscles on Cammy's skinny body. "I suppose there isn't a whole lot to do here to pass the time."

"No, not really. Although..." Cammy leaned in so close Sakura could feel her warm breath on her neck as she whispered in her ear. "I took a glance at our schedule while I was in the infirmary. No other female agent is on duty today, meaning we're all by ourselves in here..."

Sakura wasn't sure if her heart had ever beaten faster than it was at that moment. She took a long inhale through her nose, and made her move. "Well then, maybe we can find a way to pass the time..." she suggested as she gently placed her hand over Cammy's.

Cammy chuckled, and quickly re-positioned herself so that she was sitting on Sakura's lap, her arms around her shoulders. "Yes, I'm sure we can..." As her lips touched those of another for the first time since her memory was erased, Cammy felt a sense of belonging she hadn't known before. This was just a stranger she had met earlier that day, but the bond they formed over the course of one fight made her feel like a friend she had known for years. If this was the kind of connections her new career was going to let her make, then she looked forward to seeing what it had in store for her.
