Why I'm so slow this week + info for next month :3

Wohoo, my dear Patrons!

Remember the time in May when I was traveling through Swizerland and felt AWFUL, because I wasn't able to post my updates as usual? One of my Patrons then said: Why don't you write something like an "artist diary" to let your supporters know what you're doing and entertain them with more background information about your life? And I did!
Because you seemed to like that I'm going to repeat that now. 

So, why does this weeks update take longer?

Besides working on black & blue I have some "side jobs" to secure my life financially a little bit more. For example the readings in Swizerland in May (I will ditch that in the future, because it was frustrating with all the rude students :,D), or doing Workshops in Studio Linea to teach kids and teenagers how to draw. I could ditch that too now, because I'm earning enough from my comics to make a living from it, BUT ... I will not XD

Firstly, because I LOVE teaching kids that are really interested in the topic of drawing. I just wished I had that when I was younger ...
Secondly, because strangely I always learn something for myself while doing that? ò_O Overall it's a very nice and fruitful experience and also... it helps to secure my financial stability even more, which is ... good! XD

So, have some images from "Studio Linea" (the place where I'm holding these workshops), the kids and some drawings. ^-^ I'm 4-5 times within a year in Vienna to teach. But the longest visit is always in summer, when the kids are on summer vacation and have time to attend a drawing-class for a few days. So... we're really digging deep here and learn the fundamentals properly and professionally! <3 

These are my "smaller" kids (10-12) sitting in the lecture room. I teach them in the morning. Today we learned how to draw hair and hairstyles, as you can see. XD The atmosphere is very loose and friendly. The younger kids especially are very lively and can lose themselve si hysteric laughing attacks. XDDD That's  of course the moment when I need to step in to assure the productivity of the group.

Of course I asked them for permission to post this photo here. The girl in the first row (right) was afraid to show her face and decided to hide within her hoodie (she's an especially lovely one. I like her so much!).

Some comic pages from last week. :D Kids these days are INSANELY talented. Nobody here was older that 17 years. °__°" The first comic was drawn ..... by.... a .... 13 year old. XDDDD HOW? I'm so amazed!!!!

This drawing is from Stitches! They are non-binary and 17 years old. Despite being an astonishing artist already (you should see their sketchbook full of horror-drawings! It was ... breathtaking!) they were also a very interesting person. Stitches has a unique clothing style! They put on creative make-up every day to look like a creature from another (horror) world! They would also wear goth/horror/grunge inspired clothing that made them stand out even more. It was extremely humbeling to meet them, because they were facing harrassment on the streets because of their looks on a daily basis, but still chose to be themselves. VuV I love Stitches so much and hope I will meet them again soon in one of my courses. Such a wonderful, nice human. Quiet, humble, funny and very talented!

This drawing is from Khava (15). It looks amazing just by itself.... but... I have to tell you, that she made this with her FINGERS?!!!! XDDDDD I'm still in shock?! What could she possibly do with a PENCIL? She'd be unstoppable! XD

So, that's what I'm doing this and last week. I'm working on the comic constantly on the evenings and also on the weekend, but I'm not even CLOSE to finish an update T_T One page is finished, another one is already flat-colored, the other two still need to be peniciled, inked and colored. It could be, that I'm not finished until Thursday, when a new update goes up on tapas and Webtoon and I want to apologize for that. I'm doing my best over here, but after 6 hours of working with kids I'm kinda.... dead XDDDD

That brings me to the next important point!
I will go on hiatus in September to have some holidays!

From September the 8th until September the 18th I will post absolutely NOTHING, because I'm going to rest in Greece on a beach, together with my boyfriend Kito! <3 It will be my first real holidays since... 3 years? :,,,,D I'm sooo tired and I'm sooooo sooooooooooo looking forward to that.

Because of me being on holidays for a significant amount of time, your PAYMENTS WILL PAUSE. That means, you will not be billed for September!
Buuuuuut... you will still get some content. VuV I missed out on a lot of NSFW-extra pics, I'm basically owing you, because it's part of your rewards. I often was too tired to get in the mood. ;_; And for me it's very hard to draw something smutty when absolutely NOT being in the mood and fighting to produce updates. TuT
This still is no excuse, because yall are paying for this. Which means, I'm going to make up for that on September, when you're getting some pics and MAYBE a short sketch-comic to make up for everything you missed. For free <3
So if you're planning on cancelling your subscription at the end of the month: .... mayyyyybe delay that for another month, otherwise you're going to miss out on free content. XDDD

I'm going to draw on the comic now until Midnight, then I'm going to sleep and then... it's morning already. Time to teach the kids. :>
