Progress Report, 02/09 - 22

Hello everyone and welcome to another in the line of progress reports.

It's officially the first month of autumn up here, and with that the cool winds and the soothing rain has come. While I've not yet succumbed entirely to eating soups and closing myself off from the outside, I've none the less found some solace in the pattering against my windows as I've worked away at at projects and models alike.

Miranda's project has seen some headway this week, with further animation being done. While, to be entirely open and honest, my motivation for the project isn't particularly high, I none the less have hopes that I'll be releasing it this month - if anything from a sense of duty to you all. This being said, Miranda will be missing from some polls for the foreseeable future while I recharge my batteries.

Speaking of polls - I've hit 20k Twitter followers, which is the cause for the action-girls wallpaper above. I'll be trying to set up some kind of celebratory text over it for a public twitter piece, whereas you'll get the clean variant here. But I digress - 20.000 followers is quite significant, so thank you everyone for helping to contribute to that with your retweets and all your kind words, it's truly a mind-boggling figure and one I never imagined I'd ever actually reach. I remember being so surprised at my 5000 tumblr followers and the sadness when that platform went to a farm upstate, and now I've eclipsed that 4-fold. It's difficult to put into words how thankful I am, but please know that I am.

In that sense, I've been meaning to create some kind of work to celebrate the occasion. My surge from 15k to 20k was incredibly quick, and with the Miranda project having been meant to be a 15k celebration piece I'm clearly behind schedule. That said, if I were to poll you all for another one, perhaps something shorter and more focused this time in the style of Meeting Balak, then I think it should be less daunting to tackle right after Miranda is sorted - perhaps even motivating. In that sense, keep your eyes out for a 20k celebration poll in the near future.

On another note, I'm reworking the Chun-Li and Cammy models to be more in line with the slightly lither figure that you saw in the Juri wallpaper recently. They're coming along nicely, though the amount of custom sculpting I'm doing is going to make the clothes fitting a challenge in and of itself. None the less, I expect to see the fruits of this labor very soon. Similarly, Aria has seen a rework with the release of her new, updated model by Realium, as you might be able to see in the wallpaper above.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words. The shifting of the months is always a precarious time, when as a creator you always wonder how large a hit you will take from the previous one, but this month was quite a positive development overall. Thank you, dearly, once again.
