The council was, once again, beset by a collective headache.

As things were, the Mayor of Besaid insisted, every year, that they start the seasonal celebrations early. As she inevitably got her will through each and every single time, there was thankfully some respite to be found for the council in that it resulted in, on the whole, very little in the ways of complaints from the rest of the populace. Aside from the usual grumblings of seeing stores overflowing with the holiday decorations already in October, the overall holiday cheer came crawling like . Regardless, they had quickly realized the positive reception generally had little to do with the budgeting of the matter or the town's larger arrangements - and that, most crucially, this was mostly owed none other than Lulu herself and her tendency to do random holiday-themed home visits in person.

It was only fair that the Mayor, after all, made sure that each citizen, at some point, got to find something worthy of celebration by the foot of their christmas tree.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support and for all of your kind words! Christmas is rather unique as a holiday in its capacity to induce stress in people, so try, as good as can be, to not get too overwhelmed this year. It's been a long, odd one with a hell of a lot going on, so take whatever breaks you can, and recuperate - there's another year coming, and it might just be a brighter one.

In that sense, take care of yourselves, if anything by just being a little kinder to yourselves, and each other.
