Project Updates - ColdSun The Juggler

It's been a busy week and I got a huge pile of work done with my projects. Unfortunately, these are behind-the-scenes tasks. So what's going on?

Anaka Winter-Mane Script Completed

Not only do we have a new voice actress for the pious and devout priestess of Dibella, I finished her script and sent it out for the voice work to begin! I really liked writing this script as I don't think any priestess-type follower like her has ever been done (I don't mean the healing skills - I mean the personality of the follower). The voice actress for Anaka is StarLevelsUp. I can't wait to hear her take on Anaka!

Vixi Talax 2.0 Script Completed

This script was super fun. This time, the beautiful Altmer mercenary has a sarcastic personality that is much more fleshed out. I sent the script to LottieK/CKord for her to begin recording the lines. The 2.0 update to Vixi will feature no visual changes to her design, but new skills and a lot more voice lines. A prominent new feature will be a new introduction quest.

Ashtoreth The Succubus Script Completed

I also finished the script for the unique and fun new sexy succubus follower, Ashtoreth. She will have a romance system, as well as some other features that are going to be quite fun. I'll release more details on her in the coming weeks. I've sent the script over to Vexoria The Sun-Eater, who will be voicing Ashtoreth.

Vayne 2.0 Script Completed

Finally, I finished the Vayne 2.0 script. I'm adding new dialogue options such as "Tell me what you're thinking" and some other surprise dialogues. I'm creating an all-new romance system for her as well as adding some specific dialogue trees for several phases of a relationship with her. And yes, you will now be able to marry Vayne. Expect some banter for Vayne, Coralyn, and Vixi to come soon after the Vayne 2.0 update. Vayne will come with a new visual design this time around. I guess I was motivated by all the replacers people are putting out there for her, but to me, this is her definitive look. Screenshots are attached to this post. I've sent the script to Alexia Renaldis to begin voice work.

Kelsa Iceheart

The next script I need to work on is for Kelsa. Expect a good deal of banter between her and Anja as the two followers were always designed to work together. I've had bit of this script for months, but I'm going to push to finish it in the next week. Kelsa will be voiced by Milly Stern.

Astara Cosma 1.1 Update

KiaraRedVA has written and recorded a huge amount of new lines for Astara. This is what I'm currently working on. There will be a lot more Tell Me About locations and other general idles to really flesh the character out more. I'm hoping to release this update sometime next week. The 1.2 update will expand the romance features of the Astara follower as well as add marriage.

Why Am I The Juggler?

As you can see from the above, I have a lot of big projects in the pipeline. I have to juggle them as the voice lines get finished or change priorities based on my real-life work schedule. One thing you can be sure of is that I'm working hard to deliver these projects to the community and I plan on updating as many of my own followers as I can with real voice and more features over the next year. So, if you see below, you can see what I'm working on.

High Priority Tasks

These tasks are listed as high-priority because I consider them the most important tasks I have. Right now I'm working on Astara.

• Astara Cosma 1.1 Update
• Vixi Talax 2.0 Update
• Vayne 2.0 Update

Medium Priority Tasks

These are still very important to me, but because I have higher priority items or I'm missing content for them, they are put into a lesser priority.

• Ashtoreth The Succubus - still need voice lines
• Anaka Winter-Mane - still need voice lines
• Valerica Expansion
• Aela The Huntress Expansion
• Kelsa Iceheart

Low Priority Tasks

These are items on my list of tasks that I haven't specifically made content for or just haven't gotten time to work on yet.

• Any follower by other author than me replacers - I try to squeeze them in but these days the motivation to make replacers for other people's followers is rapidly fading.
• Flower Girls Replacers - someone has been bugging me to do these but if I do it will be way down the line.
• Finding voice actresses for my remaining followers that don't have them, writing scripts for said followers, and releasing new versions of them. This would include the follower I'm making to replace the Daegon replacer I released that won't get an update.

I've tried to release content at a blistering pace over the last two years. I'm at a point where I'm going back to all my previous followers and improving them with voice and new features. This means that I won't be releasing content as quickly as before, but the content will be higher quality as I'm really trying to make my ColdSun's World a reality.
