Announcement - Modding Semi-Hiatus

Hello folks! This isn't the terrible news you may think by reading the headline.

I'm going on a semi-hiatus from modding starting today and lasting through the end of September.

So what does this mean and why is it happening? Read on my friends and all questions should be answered.

What is a semi-hiatus?

This means I've paused work on my bigger mods (voiced followers) until after the end of the hiatus. I'm planning on releasing singular NPCS replacers still, but they will be infrequent as well.

How does this effect my donation to you for voice acting?

Starting today, I've put subscriptions (donations) on hold until the end of September and no one will be charged for August or September. I've already paid (with donations or out of my own pocket) all voice actress fees for the mods I'm currently working on. Also, no one can subscribe during this period so there won't be any accidental charges to anyone.

Why is this happening?

For a few reasons. First of all, I'm working on some real life projects with my sons right now that I need to focus on. These pay the bills for my family and I must do the best work I can possibly do on them without distraction.

Additionally, there are two rather historic games coming out over this month. First, is Baldur's Gate 3. I'm a huge fan of this game and will be spending some serious time playing it. I might even try my hand at making mods for it in the future. Second, there is Starfield. Unless you have been living under a rock, you know why Starfield is so important. Not just because its a landmark game by Bethesda, but also because I want to be in the forefront of learning how to mod for Starfield.

I wanted to finish Vayne and Vixi's updates before I announced this but time and tasks just didn't let me. There is a chance I release them during this semi-hiatus, but don't count on it. You can count on me releasing some replacers though!

I'm sorry if this disappoints folks and some of you decide to cancel your subscription. I have to be honest though, and I won't collect donations for work I'm not going to be doing.

I want to thank all of you for coming here, especially those who helped support my mods through donations and kind words. I really enjoy making them for you, and I'm not quitting modding - just taking a needed break to slow down a little.
