Status Update: Hiatus Ends Early...

After playing BG3 for a month (and loving every second of it) and nearly finishing it, I played Starfield yesterday to gauge my interest in playing the game as well as modding it. For now, and this may make some people happy and others sad, I'm not going to focus on Starfield at all. I don't feel the magic of it - yet. Maybe in a couple months when more mods come out?
So where does that leave me? Well, all that time I had decided to put into Starfield this month is not going to happen. Hence, I can return to Skyrim and modding! It was a fantastic break and I wholeheartedly thank all of you for sticking with me through this break. I really needed it.
What's Next?
I have 3 voiced follower mods I already have voice files that need to be updated. Vayne, Vixi, and Anaka. Those will be my focus when I make my comeback on Nexus. I also have some newer replacers to release but those are less of a priority. Part of my hiatus was doing a real-life side job for some web development which I made some nice money from which allowed me to buy a new PC (which honestly I got for playing Starfield). So it will take me the next week to get my Skyrim running on the new PC with all my mods loaded, creation kit all setup, and my work organized so I can return. I would say I'm 3 weeks away from releasing an update for one of the voiced followers.
I'll also be back to updating Patreon at least on a weekly basis. I want to interact more with everyone and show you all what I'm working on and give some previews.
Finally, I still want to make my own website for my stuff. That is something I really need to figure out a timeline for and stick to it.

I like Starfield, but it is less intimate (in a generic way) than Skyrim and the crowds are pretty generic, so I can see why it wouldn't be as appealing to develop characters for. Hopefully that will change when the CK becomes available and mods ramp up. I have seen a few that I wondered 'what would the ColdSun version look like! Anyway, welcome back!

2023-09-21 20:19:26 +0000 UTCWhile I don't agree with your comment about her being a flat character little better than a vanilla follower, I will say that I've been having a problem trying to get time on Pixie's calendar for like 6 months now (the VA for Coralyn). I do have quite an extended script to add to her, but working with Pixie has been difficult.

2023-09-07 17:09:25 +0000 UTCGlad you're back. You've certainly got a lot of projects in the works, but I must ask about Coralyn. Are you ever going to flesh her character out a bit more? She's beautiful and has some of the sexiest intimate dialogue I've ever seen, but outside of intimate interactions, her character is flat and undeveloped -- which make her a little better than a vanilla follower at this point.
