2022-12-19 15:25:44 +0000 UTCNoooo, I was afraid to tackle Berserk for a while because the manga is SO long and I couldn't find the 1997 version of the series (I was told NOT to watch the new one), but I recently found someone on YouTube that had recorded the 1997 episodes, so I definitely want to check that series out! It will definitely be on the next retro poll that we do! :)

On a serious note, If you don't have such a thing, you should definitely have a 'Romania's Choice Slot' for series you just want to react to because you feel like you'd enjoy them regardless of whether they're getting voted. Otherwise small gems might keep getting overlooked by hype train shows and ossified classics and such.

For some unknown reason I avoided it for a long time (I'm not sure why that happened) until very recently and what can I say? Easily one of the best anime/manga I've ever watched/read. Now that you mentioned it should have been on the poll lol. Not long at all, only 25 episodes (1997) and you can continue with the manga until a serious studio will decide to animate the rest of it since there are many arcs and the manga is still ongoing! So yeah. I'm totally out of context here but I really wish more people like you would react to this absolute masterpiece❤ 😤.
