It had a purpose!! :D :D I'm glad the dub corrected that as well! Especially if it was the mangaka's intentions, it shouldn't have been changed. And oh yes...I thought the ED was so cute...now it's very bittersweet! :')

2021-03-28 02:17:31 +0000 UTCMY MAN STRAIGHT UP IMAGINED A WORLD WHERE YUJI AND HIM WENT TO THE SAME SCHOOL AND WERE BEST FRIENDS IM !! Also fun fact, this was kind of sort of foreshadowed way back in episode 2 where Yuji said he likes girls like Jennifer Lawrence so. It wasn't just a throwaway line; it came up again. I had no idea about the translations. The only thing I heard of was weird translation with what Fushiguro said his type was way back in ep 8. Apparently the manga says "person" as opposed to any specific gender. Dub came in clutch though so fun times. That's about the extent I heard until now. Now it makes me want to investigate. Also nice to know you've been made aware of why the ending is so sad ;) He wants memories of his friends.
