Mo Dao Zu Shi: Episode 15 FULL LENGTH Reaction!

We finally get the full reveal of WuXian as the Yiling Patriarch, but at what cost?!

Yeah, the Wen's get their comeuppance; Yes, Cheng seems (of course) all on board, but was it worth it to see our beloved Wangji cry? WAS IT?! My heart is broken...the only solace is that we jump back to the present and get a major TEASE at the end of this...

Season One, you were amazing! But now, I'm so ready to dive into Season Two! So many questions still left unanswered!

Thank you for watching the full length reaction and for the support!

Oh, that has me EXCITED! Both the fact that things are going down, but that the OP is going to be interesting too! **HYPE INTENSIFIES**

I know you said we could talk about the last episode last week but I really wanted to wait until you released it fully! And may I just say. Strap in, shit gets WILD next season. It may only be 8 episodes long but they did it justice! Ps: Since you like the op, I’m sure you’ll LOVE the new opening for next season~ *winky face*

YES! The rabbits, the Emperor's Smile, the water ouji board....I didn't realize how much the pining of one man would both elate and crush my soul, but here we are! T_T And that ending?! Ahhhh...it has me excited to see them together but also nervous for the flashbacks we're likely to get leading up to his death. Nope, not ready for that. And ooooohhhh, like a mocking bird. Gee...that makes me feel...uneasy. @_@ Hm. Hmmm. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Such a tease for season two! But yes! Season 2, MDZS Q, the Audio CD, the manhua, the novel, The Untamed...I'm getting deep into this hole for SURE! ^^

At first, I thought it was hilarious that Wangji kept the wine stash -- like WuXian did -- but then you think...it's been 13 YEARS...he's kept WuXian's favorite wine stashed away and has probably spent nights drinking alone or hoping WuXian will return to drink it with him...for THIRTEEN YEARS...and then I felt really, really sad about it. T_T Ugggghhh, the pining of our once-stoic Lan Zhan KILLED me this episode. I just...that moment he looks so torn. I need Season Two to make up for that, because show, how dare you gut me so! Hahahaha! Thank YOU for your support too and the kind words! I am so looking forward to season 2, reading the novel, and listening to the audio CD. "It's gonna be good!" ^^

Yes, the pining of Lan Wangji has storing Emperor's Smiile and then keeping the rabbits, that WWX gave him for all those years. My poor boy has it BAD! I love the moment when Lan Wangji is watching Mo Xuan Yu laugh at little apple...watching the more carefree WWX finally smile and laugh. The Bird at the end that Nie HuaiSang is tending in the post credits scene is a common Hill myna, a bird that is black/gold which is the same colors as the Nie sect. Also, they are know to be able to perfectly mimic the human voice down to the emotions and can mimic whole phrases. Wonder why they would put so much emphasis on such a bird? Can't wait for you to get into the second season and then the novel...then audio CD and the Manhua. We'll get you thoroughly hooked in deep.

WuXian Suibian

I really like how symbolic that stashed wine is, because, we all know that Wangji has always been a person, who follows his clan rules. He was basically brought up in a strict Lan atmosphere by his stubborn uncle. So the fact that he keeps alcohol (exclusively “Emperors smile” - Wei Wuxian’s favorite wine) in a cellar, means something much more different. I suppose, in the donghua it’s a hint at how his entire moral philosophy had shifted away from Lan orthodoxy. The first sign that he grieved for Wei Wuxian tremendously; that his love for Wei Wuxian changed him a lot more than meets the eye. And yes, Wangji's 13 years of pining for Wuxian is so fucking painful: how he most likely felt guilty over the fact that he couldn't protect him.. I just can't. Thank YOU for reacting to this show! Your insights are great, and the questions you have for the second season will be definitely answered: either by the donghua itself or your patrons. Can't wait for your next reaction!
