This show gets better and better each episode, and this episode may be my favorite so far! There's SO much happening with these quirky characters, and SO MUCH to talk about!
Adam takes "extra" to a new level, but Langa is more than capable of keeping up with him! Our poor Reki, though; I'm starting to see a convergence here, and show...you're going to give us pain, soon, aren't you?!

Thanks! Yeah...a beach episode to distract? I'm onto you, show!! ^^ Reki is sooo wholesome and great, and I love his relationship established with Langa! I am not ready for Adam to stick a wrench into everything...I know it's coming, and I'm NOT ready for it. AT ALL. Adam is clearly unhinged in more ways than one, and I'm a bit scared with what he has planned! @_@

I'm sooooo ready to dive into the allegory of Adam and Eve with this show, and I have a feeling Adam's just going to get more insane as this season goes on...but I'm so ready to talk about it! Reki clearly has a lot on his mind -- with his friend that he lost prior because of Adam, and being afraid of losing Langa in a similar way now, too. But asking him not to go near Adam, when we've seen just how much Langa desires competition and the thrill of a challenge...and Adam's throwing that down...ahh...this is going to be hard, isn't it? And what could POSSIBLY happen in a beach episode?! ^^

It definitely seems like they want to sprinkle in some feel-good stuff before the real angst-train runs us over. Reki is so precious, and his relationship with Langa is so wholesome, it will be hard to watch any shake-ups in their dynamic. I'm curious and a bit nervous about just how intense this show plans on getting. I mean ADAM is a complete maniac and I imagine he's only going to get scarier.

2021-04-07 18:08:22 +0000 UTCAdam just makes me gag! He is JUST so creepy and EXTRA!! Yuck. This whole Adam & Eve thing, and the angel wings, hmm. Poor Reki, he's having a tough time moving past what happened with the race with Adam. Asking Langa not to go near Adam, will he? Langa is feeling the thrill of the challenge, his heart races and he feels the rush. I really liked you discussion about how Adam equates skating to chasing that person he loves, while Langa sees skating as a way to chase the thrill he is seeking. Did not see it to that level but yes. A beach episode, so what could happen on a beach episode?
