It's so intriguing how a show can take such a simple concept and message and yet make it engaging, humorous, and show the KINDNESS and how it's IMPORTANT. And Natsume's the perfect advocate of that message!
This episode was so sweet, lovely, and slightly creepy - but what else is new?

Thank you so much for the comment and kind words! I love that Madara is letting his guard down around Natsume and revealing that even HE can get scared by these yokai! And yesssss, why can't Natsume want to exist alongside yokai and humanity?! Exactly! I just love that I have these discussion points mapping out in my head as I watch, and then Natsume or a character will say them out loud and it just kills me - hahaha, but I don't blame them! :P Thank you so much for the comment and SO happy for what's to come in this season!

He’ll go ‘get behind me, Natsume!’ - will be shaking while he does it but also yelling. 😂 Always with all the emotions. I actually see this ep as one that really links to Natsume’s approach to the world he experiences (as in contrast to some other characters we’ve met) – when Miya thinks Yasaka would surely prefer one way over another, Yasaka goes: 'Can I not delight in both?' Also, Natsume the discussion stealer! 😂 The show does have a tendency to have spoken summaries sometimes. Looking forward to next week! 💙
