We only have 6 episodes left and this episode is the start of the ruination, the cranking to the climax, as the small town of Ruhenheim seems to not only be where our final showdown is happening, but a powder keg of paranoia, closeted hatred, and dissent that is being fostered by the most unlikely of sources!
I am terrified for EVERYONE involved, as Johan's plans start to become clearer and the threads are all starting to tie together...I'm NOT fine, y'all. NOT fine at all.

This episode was just pure TENSION! There is no off ramp, that's for certain! And ahhhhh, the fact that you all have waited for the Grimmer/Lunge pairing is a testament to y'all's patience with me! And Grimmer - my love! Seriously, the two of them make SUCH a good pair! I actually found this to be a painful episode – it just keeps ratcheting up the tension bit by bit, and there is no off-ramp or downtime moment AT ALL, even though everything is “quiet.” Most importantly though – I have been waiting so long for the Lunge/Grimmer pairing to arrive and have some screentime! Very happy to hear that you immediately see the dynamic. I love them. Grimmer would be so accepting of anyone’s idiosyncrasies. 🥰 Absolutely a version of Ray of Sunshine/grumpy!Grump dynamic. Looking forward to next week! 💙
