E.J. Bellocq is mostly known for his portraits of prostitutes in New Orleans in the early 1900s. This film image of Ava, created in approximately 2005, is an homage to Bellocq. If you can find a copy of STORYVILLE PORTRAITS, it is worth a view or two.
