This final step was an exercise in fur patterns and fur growth direction. After I painted the fur in I finished it with some post processing effects like slight chromatic aberration and grain to give it a film look. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed painting it!

I'd like to share a little bit more of my process here. Firstly in the attached image is where I conceptualize and "block in" colors and shapes. Then I refine the image further by adding details like facial features and musculature. Next time I update this I'll display the sweat and fur progress....
