More From the Cortana Shoot

Steph mentioned to me some requests on her IG for this photo. This body paint took shay 3 hours. They stopped for a lunch break and so I snapped some phone photos of the progress. I wish I did a timelapse like I normally do on bodypaint shoots. We have another one coming up soon.

Sunflowers & Fitness

The Experiment (Art Pose)

We had recently gone to a photo/art exhibit and came across nude posing. These were a few of the pose we awkwardly recreated. Somehow tape got involved... I forget why exactly; it was most likely my idea. As it would turn out, one of the images was sold for some album art later on.

Warrior Thing

We did 2 concepts today with this ridiculous chain armor. At first I thought it was too much to photograph but I think we made it work. Full gallery to both looks coming this week.

Suited Up

She has an Armani suit, she never wears, it's too big for her, but we did an editorial styled practice shoot prior to booking a job for for a national retailer. 

I'm glad I put the practice in, because shooting for the retailer came with a good bit of requirements as you could imagine....

Warm Water

Another favorite of mine from the recent Bath Photoshoot. She doesn't take many baths but it's always fun to hang out with her when she does. Hopefully this can inspire to do a part 2 at a better location soon.

Something as simple as changing hue and vibrance in your photo can make a lot of difference and add drama or mood to the exposure. Female Terrain

This is one of my favorite shots I have set aside in my print projects. Her form and position and the single diffused light source highlight the contours. This is one of few photos I would and have released for print on canvas or glass. 

Mermaid

The final shot with some behind the scenes...Steph made the fin dress by hand, took her an hour a night for 2 weeks but turned out really nice. I have never done an underwater shoot. I may have the opportunity this summer but until then this will go in the archives!
