Having not danced in almost two years, I was still impressed with how muscular and fit her back muscles were. Ever since I began drawing as a kid, I could easily get lost in the details of the human form.

Though she feels fat and flat-chested, I tried to reassure her just how beautiful and fit she truly was. Being only 19, she doesn't know the difference yet, so I tried not to argue too much.

I've been in the mood to be more subtle and deliberate with my portraits, so I sat on the floor with her for a long time and just took these soft, well-lit images, trying to capture structure and form as best I could. What do you think?

Kialey is so proud of her breasts in these shots, and for good reason.
Overall, this style of shoot, with the overly dramatic and gothic mood of the fire, knife, rose, etc. isn't necessarily my favorite thing to shoot, but I am open to trying new things while figuring out a way to brek...
