Finished this one! 😰 Oh boy did it take way longer than I hoped/anticipated. I found myself really stuck on how to update/push it. Mostly I just settled on giving more love to her hair with this version, a stronger sense of weighty motion, more like she's in water than in zero gravity.
I've been working on this one over the course of the past week and I think I'm mostly done so I'm sharing it now. I might tweak the colors some going forward but I think detail wise it's got more than enough, maybe too much.

In preparation for the show I've been taking some older works that were fine, and revisiting them to kinda embellish or complicate them. This piece is a fancied up version of a drawing I made in 2020. I think it might need more complicating still, but we'll see.
