I've always found fish surprisingly hard to draw.
I think the most useful thing I've finally learned from this is that fish can only really squirm side to side. For whatever reason, I've always tried to draw moving a bit more like snakes can.

Snakes are relatively simple, so I focused on head shape and comparative anatomy. It turns out their actual "tail" is pretty short, and they sort of have a massively long ribcage.

Spent a lot of time trying to mess with color correction, and still not 100% happy with how the colors turned out. It's tough to make the colors look natural while also keeping enough of the skintone to make the TF obvious!
