2D and 3D are two different animals. You can't beat 2D when it comes to static paintings, but it would take a huge army to create a couple minutes of motion picture with thousands of still images.

I have to say this in Japanese. I also love how her hair floating elegantly in this picture. The coloring is simply perfection. 

2D illustrations Human-assisted

Trying to strike a balance between art style and character likeness. The original has a strong 90s retro anime touch so when AI use latest anime art style for reference she will look like a different character.

Like I mentioned in the last post, there are still a lot of randomness in AI art creation,  but they can serve as really great drafts at least. The art style and coloring all look outstanding.

While I have not yet found an effective and reliable way to use AI to create some 2D illustrations for the main characters (too much randomness), at least I can add and improve a lot of other in-game illustrations.

Round 2 finished. Working on the final round fight. In the manga Ryuuji absorbed Tomoko into his "armor" so that they can play 2 become 1. I always think it is a good chance for some crazy monster/tentacles H scene and I will make it happen.

Quite happy with Ryuuji's first transformation. It does look like a body with weird DNA mutation. Like Frieza Ryuuji also has 3 transformations. The next will be quite cool (not the final form).

The original Anime may have little budget so they cut out all the girlfriends. I tried my best. I hope this place also gives an appropriate atmosphere for the final fight.

Greatly Enhanced Voice Over
