June 2023 Calendar artwork (color and flats)

Coloring was not an easy task, especially before I got a graphic tablet. That was a refreshing change back then. 

Before that, selecting areas of the image to apply color was done with the MOUSE. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Enjoy the finished artwork and the flat color pages as a bonus :)<...

Inking on paper was the next step. Once it was done, I had to scan the pages and uploaded to my computer. Then I could color it, if necessary, using the classic Photoshop. "Classic", as in a licensed program, that is.

Back then in 2015, paper and pencil were the norm. Even though in retrospective I think my lines were more... say fluid and natural, I don't regret for a second going full digital now.
