Is kinda funny that I try to get the face features perfectly symmetrical during sketching just to try to make them asymmetrical when coloring cause "nature is not perfect"

It's a little tricky to plan both versions sometimes, the NSFW commissions are very carefully selected, but I'm happy with the end result, and the client loved it! Who's excited about End Game?

This month I'm introducing a new series of experimental illustrations, no actors or models, just a character and my own rendition of it, I choose the original X-MEN team, and the first one is Bobby AKA Iceman, hope you like it!

The lighting in this piece is fascinating to me, looks so natural, even without a background you can tell is not synthetic.
To achieve this look, I created a separate layer with the cast light in it, then I work on the skin layer the way I would do normally, following the anatomy of the sub...

In this case, we have an unusual angle for me, so I separated some of the more recognizable shapes first, like the nose bridge, and then work around them... Always trying to keep it soft, if you add too much depth or structure to the face you're going to make look old or creepy.

This portrait required a very clean line work, all the lighting effects would look messy with any more details, the actual model has a little bit of fuzz and some stubble on his face, but I totally skip that, it was a little too much to handle lol... thanks again for al the love and support.
