After more testing, I think I've figured out the cause of a major bug that prevents the ripper from spawning in the second half of the game.

I wasn't totally sure about a driving scene, but without a decent transition between the apartment and the party, the pace of the game is a little weird. Trying to do things as quick and easy as possible so I went with the old background projector trick
