Some may notice the tonal highlights, which I think look nice especially on the snake scales. But I used more 2-tone versions in the actual comic, more for consistency. I already have to go back and re-do a bunch of earlier panels to get a more consistent style, when I eventually do the book.

Spent way too much time on Medusa’s sisters. But the thing about improvement, is you gotta keep it up. Can’t go backwards, that’s for sure. The sisters were inspired by Yzma from Emperor’s New Groove, and Ursula from The Little Mermaid.
