* Volume of music and FX increased
* Random disappearing enemies are now stuck to the visible part of the spectrum!
Fixing up some things people found.

Unless anyone finds something badly wrong with this build, I'm calling it done!
Patreon Supporters can download immediately, the rest of the world will have to wait a few weeks.
Requires: Skunkboard, Jaguar GD or BigP Emu to run.

I think we just need some spritework now!
Added: Titles/credits/thanks, new music tracks, sounds, lives, score, level, other stuff I forgot.
Fixed: Boats and fuel spawning onland (!)
Let me know if you find anything!
Here we go, all basic features are working. Bridges working correctly, tanks doing tanky things and shooting, obstacles in river moving around, etc, and a nice Reboot-games logo by Sonik! Also, I tested it in PAL. Ugh, 50Hz :)
19 days! Not too shoddy - very pleased.

Another binary for you good folks today with some progress.
I now have the river spawning correctly with objects on the banks and in the water. Tanks are driving up to the bank and stopping, planes are zooming past.
You can now move and shoot. Moving bends the bullet in flight...
Some free time tonight, added all the objects (tank, balloon, etc) and now have it psuedo-randomly spawning them in the river.
Next up, getting them adjusted to correct X (tanks on land - planes offscreen - balloons, boats, choppers, fuel in the river), and enabling the trigger to s...
I've not had a lot of time this week, but I have started on the object spawner and now have bridges spawning at the end of each section.
Hopefully I'll get the other objects (fuel, boats, choppers, tanks, balloons, jets) working in the next few days and have a new binary to share.

Took a day off yesterday, back at it today.
Compeltely re-wrote the river generator after I realised I had completely over-engineered it to the point it wasn't working. Oh well, the delete key is the most important key for developing software!
Today we have a much nicer and w...
Started with the river genrations. Using a pseudo-random seeded generator so that the levels will be randomised, but the same each playthrough, just like the original version.
I'm not completely happy with the island generator, but the edge and bridge generation seems ok for now. I wi...

Something being worked on alongside other things, new missions for Gravitic Mines!
These new training scenarios will push your flight skills to the extreme. The plan is to release the ROM, when finished, to patreons first. No ETA.
Follow along for update...

Been pondering this for a while so thought I'd throw it out here. If this works out well I can see this happening a few times a year.
The idea is simple - pick a simple game, and we...

Well, as promised, here is the latest unreleased build of the RAPTOR API - dated 25.09.2023.
What's new?
20/08/2023

To kick things off for the top tier, enjoy a proof of concept build for what I hope will become Rebooteroids II.
Unlike the original game, this test engine is written entirely using the RAPTOR API and is already a more robust and capable starting point than that used in the original Reboot...
I've been working away on the Atari Jaguar for quite a while now, and to date haven't had to ask anyone for support to keep things going. However, site hosting and other costs are going up and some real-life events (which I won't go into) are causing some circumstantial changes.
