I got a phonecall today from the vet ER that did his procedure. They tested the mass they cut out of him and it's benign!
Thank you all so much for your support. He's recovering and getting lots of love and attention. His continued happy days would not be possible without all of you.

An update:
We managed to get Bumblebee into an emergency vet ER. He's currently there getting an ultrasound. Based on their caseload today, he'll likely be able to go through surgery this evening or later tonight.
But of course he's currently stable and they're an ER, so emergency cases will take prio...
