Ashley's German Suplex is a little unique.  Instead of a nice arching motion, she starts by lifting her opponent almost straight into the air before shifting her hips forward up to achieve a nearly vertical drop for her opponent.

I'm just starting to work on the first full fight and it will feature my two rookies, Ashley Pierce and Stephanie Hawk.

The abstretch is a tricky hold to pose, but as you can see, Ashley has no problem locking it on her taller opponent.

This scene is from a concept I was exploring a while back... I'd imagined a college pro wrestling league but in the end, the idea was just too big to gain any traction.  But that doesn't mean I can't share some of the test renders with you.

More work on the PFF arena...

I spent some more time tonight working on the PFF arena and checking lighting, textures etc.  I'm really liking these two fighters.  Stephanie Hawk in red looks intense and athletic.  Ashley in blue looks casual/relaxed but at the same time, like someone you don't want to mess with...

Starting to think about the first match...

These are raw test renders where I was mostly playing around with sweat spray and environment lighting.  I "think" I've gotten it dialed in.

I'm happy how dynamic the poses look even without motion blur and my other postwork tricks.
