This is an odd one --

Tomorrow is Danny's birthday and every year I draw him something.

Last year was a pic of him eating ice cream with Julien, this year- he wanted me to replicate an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in my style, he's a very devout Catholic.

So I was like, yeah I can totally do that for you.

There are a lot of reasons why I don't often try to full color a comic page, it's murder on your hand!

I tried a whole lot of different things with this first page, kept to simple shading and lighting and freehanded the backgrounds.

All things considering this was finished relatively quickly...

Sigh, first of all SAI refused to save anything the entire time I was working on the SU themed pic.

I had to save as a PSD file and then save everything as I liked, restart the laptop and then finally that managed to get SAI working again. But the SU image never saved on the original SAI file and ...
