A rainy day by the river.

I went for a walk by the river on a lovely day.  I walked along the path and enjoyed the beauty of nature.   Right after this I found a hidden path that led to a tower!   It's behind the paywall if you're interested.  Hope to see you there!

A little top free walk in the city.

I took a little walk downtown sans top.  I thought that I was showing the buildings that I was walking next to, but I only got the stairs in frame.  I've got a new camera stabilizer so my footage should be a bit more smooth, but learning the framing may be a little tricky.  Hope yo...

A Hidden Tower!

I went for a mini adventure down an often unused path that I had never been down before.  It was obscured by low hanging willow branches.  After a few minutes I found an observation tower of some kind!  It was really exciting!  I was filled with a sense of wonder and fun as if...

Practice makes perfect!

I've been practicing my archery! After a few bruises, I got another bow to help me build some strength in my form.

It's been too long since I've posted, and here is why!  It's been a busy summer so far, but things should be getting back to normal now.  I'm looking forward to getting some good work done!

A walk in an old downtown area.

I took a short walk in a little downtown area.  It was really beautiful and neat to see the history as it's being updated.  Please check out my other free stuff on here, and consider becoming a Patron.  there's so much more to see behind the paywall!

Independence Day Special!

I know that a lot of my Patrons are international, but I hope that you will join me in raising a glass to the good old U.S.A.  We're going through a rough patch right now, but I believe that we can turn it around and make a better tomorrow!   Here's a bit of fun as I celebrate feel...

Ink drawing

Still working in ink. It isn't my go-to medium, but the more I work with it the more comfortable I get.

Oh, deer!

This morning, my dog Inigo and I, went to do our chores outside: watering the garden and feeding the chickens. He seemed to be a bit agitated, his nose to the ground, searching out some unseen event. I spotted the deer I saw yesterday. She was hiding in the tall shrubs, but keeping near an old sh...

Deer inspiration

Yesterday I took a photo of a deer in my yard. I saw her again this morning, when it came to my attention that she's got a young one. I assume that they've returned to their hiding place, but I had deer on my mind when I sat down to draw.

I sat down to draw today. As I thought about what to draw, I tried to conjure up images, textures, or patterns that would make an interesting drawing. I thought of the time I'd spent driving last week through Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas. A pattern leapt forward. Rows and rows of crops. C...

Too much titty for twitter.

I really liked this picture and wanted to use it to promote the farm video on twitter, but I thought that it would get some negative attention, So it's behind the paywall now!

Checking out a farm!

I stopped by a beautiful field of crops growing in the warm sun.  The wind made the sound a bit bad, but you can see what a lovely area I was in.  Stay tuned until the end to see a rare moment of me getting embarrassed when the farmer showed up!

A bit of play on color saturation, light, and contrast!

Photo effects

As I played with reference photos in an editing program, I automatically chose to reduce the  color saturation. While black and white photos are some of my favorite, I wanted to do more. I then manipulated the green levels, and added an orb of light. I feel that in making just a few changes,...
