As promised, I've been editing footage taken for my Mary Magdalene series. To provide some background: I became intrigued with the idea of creating art of Mary Magdalene when I came across an image from the 1400s. It was a representation of her, but she was completely covered in hair, or fur.

I've been working on this awhile! Now that it's done, I can enjoy a lovelier space. The primer and paint were the easy part, but the scraping and patching took hours and hours! You wouldn't believe all the wallpaper and cracking layers of paint that were once here!

I found some sand that is full of mica! Mica is a flakey, shiny mineral. I like to think of it as nature's glitter! Like glitter, the sand is very sticky.
