Requests are great for trying out something new. I took the opportunity to do him in that sort of anime paint style. It’s more time consuming for me but good for learning every few rare times I do it!

What’s also a nice change from my usual art is that at conventions I get to draw more ladies. Especially original ones. I tend to put my a lot of my own take when I draw their characters. Which they also like so everyone is happy.
