I gotta do more of these short'n'sweet little stories - not everything needs to be a grand, 3-volume epic.

Sunday already! I know it's just because I've been so damn busy, but it sure FEELS like time is speeding up.

To me, saying "I love you" to someone is a promise - a heavy-duty one. I can understand Herman's desire to keep Anna "safe", but I can also see Anna's commitment to standing by her man. She knew what it could mean when she plighted her troth to a violence-haunted revolutionary.

Finally! Time for all the travelin' gags (rubs hands in glee).

(Ominous music starts playing)...
Yeah, these days downright nasty "superheroes" are all over the place. But when I picked up that issue of WARRIOR in 1982, what Kid Marvelman had turned into was something quite shocking.

Alright, enough flashbacks. Back to the "present day" and the Supercon trip.

OK, from the overwhelming response it got, I've decided to draw the Wolf-Mare trilogy as the next Sunday story. But since I'm currently up to my nostrils in other work, it's going to take me a week or two to get 'em whomped up.
So to keep y'all happy in the meanwhile...

And constantly ask the Secret Police questions, even as they're interrogating you. "Herman was here all the time. How can you blame him for a bomb YOU guys built and blew up in the President's face?"
They hate that.

Speaking of working for a living, I was making a list of the projects I'm working on, this morning. There's at least seven. I've had years of experience with having too little work - makin' do as a starving artist.
But having too much work is new. I'm not sure how to...

Okay, just one more two-page "character illustration flashback", and then we get back to the road trip, I swear!

Before we commence the actual trip, another "flashback" to illustrate a little more of Lisa's and Lenny's character(s).

And now, much to Mike's relief, some ACTION!

This Sunday's suggestion for a story to be fleshed out is three stories - in the first one Selma and her fellow frisky mares take shameless sexual advantage of the slim young wolf, Harri. In the second story, Harri and his wolf-pack return the favor. In the third tale, Selma is so pleased with th...

Bad news travels fast. I think it was in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy that they invented a FTL ship with a bad news based stardrive: Problem was, they were unwelcome wherever they went.

Yep, Scotman and Icelad are not "lone heroes" - on the contrary, they're part of a large and colorful crew.

Just because you're in a line of work that sometimes involves ultraviolence, doesn't mean you can't have sensitive skin.

The McKinley tartan comes out much too dark in black & white. Gonna have to sort that out. In the meanwhile, a shout-out to my accomplices. S&I are not picky about whose gags they steal, I mean, uh, pay homage to? So if you've got a knee-slapper stashed away, feel free to lay 'em on me! 2019-10-07 16:43:28 +0000 UTC View Post
Two-Ton Tina is not much ashamed of her body, plus-size tho' it be.

Another possibility for the next regular Sunday page: "Mascot", which is basically an excuse to draw females of all sizes and types riding horse-cocks. These would be in color. Not a lot of plot, lots of different angles and positions, a wrap-up gag at the end, s'about it.

Yeah, I know the military's job is to kill people and break things. Nice, soft people don't take that job. But that's just a LITTLE bit evil.

If you are a connoisseur of ethnic jokes, you may be aware that the Scots are often depicted as being careful with money. Which is no insult, at least to me - I've been known to practice thrift, myself.

Muzzle-loading cannon are obsolete by a century or two - but just because new and more efficient weapons have been invented, does not make the old ones any less powerful.

OK, to help me make up my mind as to which story I should be running on Sundays, here's a sample page from "Last Ship Out". I've scripted, laid out, and halfway penciled it.
A widow and her daughter use sex to buy their way off-planet on the last Iceban troopship to leave ...

Ah what the heck, let's do the SuperCon story. It's a freewheeling tale, packed with cheap gags....and that's the kinda story I want to be doing in these tense and unfunny times. Let's not forget we're all doing this for entertainment!

....And that wraps up that intro tale. I think I thumbnailed out another story, where Scotman and Icelad go to SuperCon, while the fuss about them stopping a supervillain with a cannon dies down.
They end up having some trouble with a super-villain fanboy - which is ...
