For the most part, I haven't gotten around to thinking of Julie's parent's as actual people rather they were more plot devices. That tends to change once you start drawing them and seeing them. And it's kinda hard to imagine where Julie gets her "grump" from.

if you haven't figured it out yet, I really have a thing for robo girls for a variety of reasons. I'll probably expand on that sometime but for now just enjoy this sketch.

Sneak peak of the next Cassiopeia

Gosh... this looks pretty great doesn't it!?!

There's a lot to be said for having an economy of lines and I think I'm getting better at it. It's something I was always aware of but I focused largely on the micro scale. When I zoom in though, I always lose focus on the bigger picture which can make a flat image.

For my reputation as drawing a lot of yuri stuff, I think these two are the only "canon" yuri couple in my stuff so far. That's not saying too much as I don't get to writing a great deal of shipping at all or romantic entanglements. But that would change the longer a story goes on for sure.

Honestly I think Penny's one of my most successful and completed designs. It's kinda funny to think that she constantly tinkers with Min's robot body design. And probably embellishing where she doesn't really need to.

I've gotten maybe a little too used to talking or thinking about how a recently passed away idol of mine influenced my work. Or even just talking about how much I liked this older fellow's stuff. But Monty Oum was a "contemporary." Sure we never met, worked in different circles, and he was leagues ...
